What you will do

• Provide technical oversight and advisory capacities on the overall PfES structure and components of the Phase 2 Feasibility Study.
• Conduct desk- and interview-based reviews of existing benefit sharing models (e.g., GFLL, Vietnam PfES) to adapt them for Lao PDR.
• Propose a fund structure for the Environment and Forest Protection Fund (EFF) based on the Vietnam Forest Development Fund (VNFF) model.
• Develop a framework and pilot plan for PfES in Lao PDR, defining scale, duration, institutional requirements, and budget.
• Coordinate technical reviews and knowledge exchanges between Lao PDR and Viet Nam.
• Collaborate closely with hirify.global, GIZ, and government counterparts to ensure coherence and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in natural resource management, climate-finance, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor's degree holders must provide two additional years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven work experience related to PfES in Lao PDR.
• Strong results focus and ability to work flexibly within a multi-agency team.
