What you will do

• Lead and own critical software responsible for curating and delivering display advertising formats on Prime Video.
• Define the strategic vision, roadmap, and priority order for team projects in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Recruit, hire, and manage a team of Software Development Engineers (SDEs), assessing and improving performance.
• Design and architect scalable and reliable multi-tier web services to meet evolving business needs.
• Define and monitor metrics to measure team progress, customer experience, and operational excellence.
• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans before they become roadblocks.

Requirements

• Must be based in or authorized to work in the USA (New York, NY)
• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of experience working directly within engineering teams.
• 3+ years of experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems.
• 8+ years of experience leading the development of multi-tier web services.
• Strong knowledge of the full SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, and livesite operations.

Nice to have

• Experience communicating technical designs and product strategy to senior leadership.
• Proven track record in recruiting, mentoring, and coaching software engineers to improve their effectiveness.
