What you will do

• Lead procurement activities from strategy development to contract execution for complex project packages.
• Translate client head contract obligations into robust subcontract scopes and commercial terms.
• Develop and issue professionally structured ITTs while challenging scope gaps and risk allocation.
• Manage the full tender process including clarifications, evaluations, and subcontractor recommendations.
• Negotiate NEC4 subcontracts and lead kick-off meetings to set commercial and delivery expectations.
• Hand over executed subcontracts to the commercial team for ongoing management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience creating, negotiating, and awarding NEC3/NEC4 subcontracts in a live project environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and multidisciplinary construction subcontract packages.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., CIPS) is essential.
• Proven ability to influence engineers, project managers, and commercial teams.
• Proficiency in SAP procurement systems.
• Professional or postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with other contract forms such as MF/1, FIDIC, or IChemE.
• Engineering qualifications (ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent).
