What you will do

• Lead the procurement process from cradle to grave for major projects in cross-functional teams (Procurement, Sales and Bid, Engineering, Quality, Legal).
• Support pre-contract activities: flow down client head contract terms, manage tendering and commercial clarifications, and propose pricing and lead team information.
• Own post-contract procurement execution: create package strategies, build and manage the Procurement Plan, and define robust scopes for approved supply chain partners.
• Run full tender assessments to select the most economically advantageous tender, including technical, quality, and HSE considerations.
• Negotiate subcontract agreements and align flowdowns (special conditions, amendments, site conditions, payment milestones, liabilities), and manage change orders.
• Organize kick-off meetings, expedite requirements, and ensure strict adherence to hirify.global SE compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience creating, negotiating, and managing NEC forms of subcontract (other contract forms like MF1, FIDIC, IChemE are desirable).
• Proven senior procurement track record in a project environment, managing multiple subcontract packages simultaneously.
• Knowledge of procurement systems, specifically SAP.
• Knowledge of contract forms: NEC3 & 4, MF1, FIDIC, IChemE (among others).
• Experience with mechanical & electrical, control and instrumentation packages, site services, professional services, and subcontract procurement/management.
• Membership of an appropriate professional body, specifically CIPS (essential).

Nice to have

• Professional or post-graduate qualification in Procurement or Management (others also acceptable).
• Engineering qualifications (e.g., ONC, HNC, HND).
• Change management and continuous improvement experience.
