What you will do

• Draft and negotiate complex legal agreements for business development and corporate transactions.
• Provide strategic legal counsel to internal stakeholders regarding partnerships and licensing deals.
• Manage legal risks associated with corporate initiatives and strategic collaborations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
• Support the legal department in maintaining high standards of corporate governance.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar admission in good standing.
• Significant experience in transactional law, specifically within the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Proven ability to manage complex negotiations and draft sophisticated legal documentation.
• Strong understanding of corporate law and business development processes.
• Must be able to work onsite in South San Francisco, California.
