What you will do

• Greet patients professionally and manage the intake process and patient files.
• Conduct outbound calls to current and former patients to schedule follow-up tests and consultations.
• Perform insurance benefit checks and obtain necessary authorizations for patients.
• Provide first-level support, process payments, and manage equipment repairs under supervision.
• Handle general office duties, inventory management, and supply ordering.
• Coordinate logistics and planning for at least one community outreach event per month.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Williston Park, NY.
• Required previous customer service experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience or knowledge with hearing aids.
• Experience working with EMR/EHR systems.
