TL;DR

Location: Onsite, Hybrid, or Remote. Must have access to a secure and private workspace and reliable internet if working remotely.

Salary: $15.25 – $17.50 per hour

What you will do

  • Process care coordination tasks including e-filing, order/referral management, and insurance verifications.
  • Evaluate and electronically file medical documents into patient charts via EHR software.
  • Handle high volumes of data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to client protocols and HIPAA guidelines for sensitive data protection.
  • Track completed work and transaction counts on an hourly basis to meet productivity targets.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to proprietary software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to navigate multiple open programs and windows.
  • Ability to fulfill responsibilities in a remote capacity while maintaining a secure and private workspace.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks including sitting, talking, and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Experience with health information management (HIM) concepts.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and medical terminology.
