What you will do

• Process medical ROI requests accurately and efficiently using hirify.global software applications.
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues to ensure compliance.
• Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations.
• Organize records and documents to complete the ROI process.
• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and in person.
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure effective departmental operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of medical record experience.
• 2+ years of clerical or office work experience.
• Proficiency with desktop computers, scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and maintain strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• RHIT certification.
• Experience working within a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Some college education.
