What you will do

• Lead the operational delivery of finance, including reporting, compliance, financial control, and audit processes.
• Manage and develop a high-performing finance team across reporting, tax, and accounting.
• Own the financial control framework to ensure strong governance and reporting standards across all entities.
• Drive process improvement initiatives with a focus on automation, scalability, and AI-enabled workflows.
• Partner with the VP of Finance to support board reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic priorities.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualification required.
• Significant experience in a senior finance, financial control, or controllership role within a multi-entity business.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with complex group structures.
• Proven experience managing month-end/year-end close processes and external audits.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.

• Experience in eCommerce, marketplace, or online retail.
• Exposure to international expansion, M&A, or significant business growth.
• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions, including the US and Germany.
• Experience implementing automation or AI tools within a finance function.
