Strategic Buyer (Energy)

Location: České Budějovice or Brno, Czech Republic. Home office options available if the position allows.

What you will do

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for HV, MV, and LV cables and accessories.
• Coordinate regional strategies across CEE and SVE and present outcomes at the E.ON Group level.
• Manage international and local tender processes in accordance with public procurement legislation.
• Draft, negotiate, and conclude commercial contracts.
• Report financial and technical KPIs to the headquarters in Essen, Germany.
• Manage supply chain risks with a focus on availability, quality, and ESG.

Requirements

• University degree in a technical field (ideally electrical engineering) or economics.
• Business-fluent English (minimum B2, C1 preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of commercial law and public procurement regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
