What you will do

• Identify and qualify prospects in mining, oil & gas, and hydroelectric sectors impacted by water availability.
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle from initial outreach to contract execution.
• Design commercial deal structures including outcome-based pricing and consortium funding models.
• Engage industrial operators and utilities as both customers and co-investors.
• Coordinate with Government Affairs to leverage public-private partnership opportunities.
• Build coalitions of stakeholders to create multi-party funding structures for watershed projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial business development or partnership development within heavy industry or energy infrastructure.
• Proven track record of sourcing and closing complex B2B or B2G deals.
• Deep understanding of how water and precipitation drive industrial operations and regulatory frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, engineering, or environmental science is a plus.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% to industrial sites and conferences.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional startup environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Western water economics, water rights, and basin hydrology.
• Experience with ESG-focused stakeholders and trade groups.
