What you will do
- Perform DFM analysis to ensure robust designs meet process and quality requirements.
- Define equipment and tooling specifications and lead the APQP process, including flow charts, layout, PFMEA, SOP, and PPAP.
- Conduct technical reviews for equipment and molds, managing development schedules and acceptance stages.
- Supervise equipment installation, try-runs, and the handover process to manufacturing engineering.
- Provide cost estimations for program teams and support sales quotations.
- Manage ECNs post-SOP and lead VAVE projects for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in automobile electrical product development and manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with plastic molding, SMT PCB, and electrical welding processes.
- Strong knowledge of IATF standards and tools such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD/CAM, and MS Project.
- English: Fluent proficiency is preferred.
