What you will do

• Perform calculations and design basic engineering systems in collaboration with experienced staff.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics for projects.
• Review shop drawings to ensure conformance to plans and specifications.
• Prepare and modify reports and design documents.
• Mentor less experienced designers within the project team.
• Support business development and maintain professional relationships with clients and architects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural engineering with 1 year of experience, or 4 years of experience with a high school diploma.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Basic proficiency in engineering design, codes, design guides, and industry standards.
• English: Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating is required.
• Ability to travel occasionally (10-15%).

Nice to have

• Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
• Additional certifications such as BEMP, CPD, CDP, NICET, or RCDD.
