What you will do

• Design and program controls for custom assembly applications, including hardware specifications, electrical BOMs, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in collaboration with maintenance and engineering personnel.
• Implement automated manufacturing technologies, including robotics, vision systems, and advanced motion control.
• Ensure machine safety by applying relevant codes and modifying existing equipment.
• Maintain shop floor data system applications in collaboration with IT and operations.
• Develop business cases and capital expenditure requests for the purchase of new controls hardware.

Requirements

• BSEE from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least 2 years of experience in controls design, panel construction, and PLC programming in high-volume assembly.
• Knowledge of integrating robotics, motion control, vision, and variable frequency drives.
• Functional knowledge of machine safety, wiring standards, and network architecture.
• Detailed problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
