What you will do

• Develop diagnostic applications in C to exercise embedded hardware components such as processors, memory, and peripherals.
• Create automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline testing and debugging processes.
• Execute comprehensive test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of hardware systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues using JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Collaborate with hardware design, firmware, and QA teams to define requirements and validate designs.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation for diagnostic procedures, test results, and debugging guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and C# with a strong understanding of low-level programming.
• Advanced knowledge of Bash and Python for automation and test scripting.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C).
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments, including system-level programming.
• Must be based in North Reading, MA, US.
