What you will do

• Facilitate project-based STEM curricula for groups of up to 28 campers.
• Lead specialized rotations in the Innovator’s Studio, Idea Lab, and Outdoor Adventure.
• Guide 5th-8th grade campers in the safe use of tools such as saws, drills, and glue guns.
• Manage camper behavior using restorative practices and provide individual support based on diverse needs.
• Coordinate with teammates to plan, set up, and execute daily camp activities and traditions.
• Manage check-in/check-out processes and maintain warm communication with families.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age by May 1st, 2026.
• 1+ years of instructional or classroom support experience in K-8 education.
• Proven experience teaching, supervising, or mentoring children.
• Ability to commit to the full duration of camp (4-8 continuous weeks).
• Ability to complete background checks, state-mandated certifications, and electronic onboarding.
• Availability for 8-hour shifts daily, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

• College coursework in Education or Child Development.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
