What you will do

• Act as an in-house expert on German and Italian grammar and style.
• Design and write interactive questions for phonics, grammar, and reading comprehension.
• Edit user-facing content and collaborate with writers, editors, and illustrators.
• Manage projects and coordinate with software engineers and visual designers.
• Develop guidelines, processes, and documentation to support team growth.
• Hire and oversee a team of Italian- and German-speaking content creators.

Requirements

• Fluency in German, Italian, and English with excellent written communication skills.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Italian, German, Linguistics, or Education.
• Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
• Experience teaching new languages to adult learners.
• Familiarity with language assessment frameworks like CEFR and ACTFL.
• Must be able to work onsite in the Raleigh, NC office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HTML, Jira, or Git.
