What you will do

• Contribute to the architecture of large-scale commerce systems on the PlayStation Network Platform.
• Design and develop high-quality, extensible, and highly available active-active services.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Architects to influence technology decisions and product roadmaps.
• Implement rigorous methodologies for measuring and improving the performance of enterprise-grade data systems.
• Lead the development community by establishing and influencing quality engineering standards.
• Drive complex projects from initial scoping and requirements to final launch.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, programming, design, and analysis.
• Expertise in Java, Python, Golang, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) at enterprise scale, including DynamoDB, Aurora, and EC2.
• Proficiency with Containers (Docker and Kubernetes) and both SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, Cassandra).
• Deep knowledge of computer science fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithm design.
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies and practicing test-driven development.

• Experience in the game industry.
• Experience with Azure or GCP.
