What you will do

• Lead the architecture, development, and rollout of the Hotels CFAR platform, including pricing APIs, UI SDKs, and payout infrastructure.
• Manage end-to-end partner integrations, from technical scoping and design calls to live deployment.
• Drive the creation of scaling infrastructure, such as partner management portals and self-serve onboarding tools.
• Serve as the primary technical voice for partner engineering teams, owning SLAs and performance requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Risk, and GTM teams to align engineering output with business outcomes like attach rate and launch velocity.
• Mentor senior ICs and tech leads to maintain high technical excellence through architecture reviews.

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams building B2B/B2B2C platforms with external partners.
• Strong technical background in backend systems (APIs, distributed systems) and cloud infrastructure.
• Direct experience as a partner-facing technical leader, including scoping integrations and managing SLAs.
• Comfort with fintech, insurance, or transactional products (money movement, refunds, pricing engines).
• Proficiency with Scala or Java, REST APIs, OAuth2.0, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).
• Must be based in Canada.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of travel distribution (OTA, booking engines, Sabre, Amadeus, or hotel CRS).
• Frontend experience with React, JS/TS for SDK and merchandising work.
