Location: Must be based in the USA (Hybrid/Remote flexibility)
Salary: $280,500 - $330,000

What you will do
- Lead an organization of ~35 engineers across Data Engineering, Integration Engineering, and Integration Support teams.
- Establish processes and accountability structures to ensure delivery predictability across greenfield and production workstreams.
- Manage and develop a layer of engineering managers while collaborating with Principal Engineers on technical vision.
- Own reliability and SLA performance for integration systems, focusing on reducing MTTI and MTTR.
- Oversee the migration of the enterprise data platform from legacy systems to a modern architecture.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and Executive leadership to align priorities and reduce organizational thrash.
Requirements
- 12+ years in software engineering or technical implementation with a focus on data-intensive systems.
- 8+ years of engineering leadership, including 4+ years managing other managers.
- Experience overseeing organizations of 30+ engineers.
- Healthcare domain expertise, specifically in revenue cycle management, EHR data models, or HL7/FHIR.
- Proven track record of owning SLAs, incident management, and client-facing reliability commitments.
- Must be based in the USA.
