What you will do

  • Develop end-to-end fraud risk policies for innovative consumer lending and banking products.
  • Use advanced analytical techniques to mine massive scale transactional data and translate findings into actionable business plans.
  • Lead the full risk strategy cycle, from identifying opportunities and testing policies to production launch and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineering, and compliance teams to secure the ecosystem while maintaining a seamless user experience.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party data providers to mitigate identity theft and account takeover (ATO) risks.
  • Design and monitor experiments to explore new methodologies and estimate key risk metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or Data Science (or MS/PhD with 2+ years experience).
  • Experience in Fintech, Payments, NeoBanking, Crypto, or the Money Movement space.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, or R, and data visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of risk policy fundamentals for consumer loans and identity checks.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hive and Hadoop.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders using data-driven storytelling.
