What you will do

• Analyze merchant applications by evaluating risk scores, products, and policies.
• Investigate high-risk account activity to minimize fraud and reputational losses.
• Write and execute MySQL queries to analyze merchant performance and information.
• Coordinate with Merchant Success and Support teams to resolve risk-related issues and provide guidance on policy.
• Optimize the merchant fraud detection framework and streamline the approval process.
• Utilize LLMs like Claude to enhance research, productivity, and communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in risk management, fraud, or financial crime prevention operations.
• Proficiency with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with Claude or equivalent LLM tools.
• Based in Bogota, Colombia.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Central Time.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of analytical experience in merchant/business fraud within e-commerce, banking, or fintech.
• Ability to start within two weeks of receiving an offer.
