What you will do

• Implement and oversee behavioral-based safety programs and new safety initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison for regulatory agency inquiries from OSHA, EPA, FDA, and state equivalents.
• Manage the site's regulated waste program and oversee on-site contract security.
• Collaborate with pharmacy and lab teams to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, and USP standards.
• Coordinate with Workers Compensation regarding incidents at the fulfillment center.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in safety or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Workplace Health & Safety (WHS).
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be based in Gilbert, Arizona for on-site work.
• Physical ability to stand up to 100% of the time and lift up to 50lbs.
• Medical approval to wear respiratory protection (N95, PAPR, etc.) and willingness to handle hazardous drugs.
