What you will do

• Develop and implement EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with leadership to foster a proactive safety culture and provide guidance on EHS matters.
• Deliver EHS training and provide one-on-one coaching to managers and employees.
• Manage workers’ compensation cases and coordinate emergency preparedness efforts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in EHS, safety, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to travel up to 50% to company and client sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in an industrial environment.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as ASP or CSP.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling and industrial hygiene exposure monitoring.
• Experience acting as a company representative during regulatory inspections.
