Legal Counsel (EMEA)

TL;DR

Legal Counsel (Legal/EMEA): Providing general legal advice and support to the hirify.global group with an accent on reviewing and negotiating master agreements and commercial contracts. Focus on ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal operations, and drafting bespoke contracts for a global sales-driven technology environment.

Location: Remote (EMEA), with a preference for United Kingdom

What you will do

• Review and negotiate various agreements, including services, procurement, carrier, and confidentiality agreements.
• Provide legal advice on daily business activities, employee matters, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft bespoke contracts such as agency, referral, and commission agreements.
• Assist in dispute resolution and support legal operations initiatives.
• Review promotional materials, websites, and campaign materials for legal compliance.
• Monitor new legislation and communicate the potential impact to the business.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in contract review and negotiation.
• Qualification to practice in the jurisdiction where you are located.
• Experience in the IT/Technology industry and sales-driven companies (preferred).
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide practical advice in plain English.
• Ability to work across multiple global teams and timezones independently.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in an in-house legal position.
• Exposure to the data center industry.
• Knowledge of privacy, information security, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience or exposure to employment law.
