TL;DR

Associate Corporate Counsel (Legal): Supporting the legal team on corporate, commercial, product, and employment matters with an accent on corporate governance and commercial contracting. Location: Must be based in the United States

Salary: $145,000 - $165,000 per year

What you will do

  • Manage corporate governance, including drafting Board resolutions, updating governing documents, and managing capital tables.
  • Draft and negotiate various commercial agreements with customers and vendors, advising on risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Maintain public-facing terms of service and advise product/engineering teams on privacy, data security, and responsible AI.
  • Support employment matters by maintaining and improving offer letters, employment agreements, and commission plans.
  • Develop and implement scalable legal forms and procedures to optimize team operations.
  • Monitor applicable laws and regulations to ensure business practices remain compliant.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 2+ years of experience in a law firm or technology company with a corporate or transactional focus.
  • J.D. from a well-regarded law school and active bar membership in at least one state.
  • Strong drafting and negotiating skills with a business-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects autonomously.
