What you will do

• Develop electrical and instrumentation designs for industrial and water treatment facilities.
• Design low-voltage industrial control systems and control panels for hazardous locations, specifically Class I Division 2 environments.
• Prepare and maintain critical technical documentation, including instrument lists, datasheets, termination drawings, and network architectures.
• Review and provide technical input on P&IDs, General Arrangements, and design guidelines to ensure project compliance.
• Lead cross-functional engineering discussions, support proposal activities, and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
• Provide on-site commissioning support and manage assigned engineering scope, budget, and schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical and industrial control system design.
• Strong expertise in designing low-voltage systems in compliance with UL and CEC standards.
• Proven experience selecting equipment for Class I Division 2 hazardous locations.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 15%) for client meetings and site commissioning.

• Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA system design and programming.
• Knowledge of low-voltage power distribution system design.
