What you will do

• Supervise superintendents and employees, providing direction, training, and performance management.
• Administer the company safety program, including performing audits and ensuring strict compliance.
• Plan and prioritize elevator installations and manpower needs using project management software.
• Review and sign off on bids and change orders, providing technical input to calculate labor and material costs.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, elevator consultants, and architects.
• Coordinate materials and subcontracting for project completion and perform weekly site visits to monitor progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent extensive industry and management experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicles Report are required.
• Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
• Must be based in the Chicago, IL area to conduct site visits and manage local operations.
