What you will do

• Provide environmental, health, and safety leadership to ensure zero-accident performance and regulatory compliance.
• Guide and oversee boiler and turbine performance to maintain maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Coordinate daily operational activities across departments to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Conduct operational studies to improve plant equipment and processes, revising manuals as needed.
• Inspect plant machinery and manage technical training programs for operations personnel.
• Prepare and present technical reports to leadership while maintaining plant readiness for emergencies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in an industrial or power-generating environment.
• New Jersey State Boiler License is required for this position.
• Hands-on experience in power plant operations, high-pressure boilers, or related industrial systems.
• Experience with materials-handling systems such as conveyors, cranes, and hoppers.
• Ability to support off-hours and on-call assignments as required.
• Strong understanding of electrical and control systems, air compressors, and cooling water systems.

Nice to have

• B.S. in Engineering.
• ASME and QRO/CFO certification.
• Experience in a specialty chemical facility or coal-fired power plant.
• Maintenance experience with outages and rotating or electrical generation equipment.
