What you will do

• Own end-to-end execution of clinical study portfolio across the US, Europe, and Asia.
• Develop study plans, protocols, budgets, and timelines while proactively resolving enrollment threats.
• Lead site identification, qualification, initiation, and monitoring for multi-center studies.
• Serve as the primary operational owner for all IRB/Ethics Committee submissions and reporting.
• Select and manage external clinical consultants and CRO partners to ensure high quality and speed.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to ensure study designs generate clinically meaningful data.

Requirements

• 10+ years of clinical research experience in medical devices or diagnostics.
• Proven success leading multi-center trials across multiple geographies, including US and OUS.
• Strong working knowledge of 21 CFR Parts 812/820, ISO 14155, and EU MDR.
• Experience as the primary clinical lead on studies supporting 510(k), De Novo, or CE Mark submissions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage CROs and external consultants with precision.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in life sciences, clinical research, nursing, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiovascular diagnostics.
• Familiarity with SaMD regulatory pathways and AI/ML-based medical device submissions.
• Prior experience as the first clinical hire at a medtech startup.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to accelerate clinical research workflows.
• Active network of clinical investigators in cardiology or emergency medicine globally.
