What you will do

  • Manage a mixed caseload of EL/PL multi-track claims typically valued between £25k and £100k.
  • Assess liability and quantum and devise strategies to resolve cases with the best possible outcome.
  • Draft legal pleadings, including Defences and witness evidence.
  • Represent clients in court, attending trials and settlement conferences as required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile clients and insurers.
  • Utilize the firm’s Case Management System to progress files from receipt to closure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in EL/PL multi-track file handling.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare concise reports and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and case management software.
  • Must be based in or be able to work in Liverpool.
