Field Adjuster - Property (Virginia and Maryland)

Location: United States; field travel throughout the assigned Virginia and Maryland territory is required. Workplace type: Fully remote with on-site inspections and local or regional travel.

Compensation: 100% commission-based earnings at 42% commission, supported by a bi-weekly draw of $1,500.00.

What you will do

• Conduct on-site inspections and field investigations for residential and commercial property claims.
• Inspect structures, property, vehicles, equipment, and accident scenes as required.
• Document damage, conditions, causation indicators, measurements, photographs, diagrams, and other findings.
• Evaluate loss facts and support coverage, liability, damage, and exposure investigations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain complete claim files in line with client and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with examiners, carriers, policyholders, vendors, attorneys, and other claim participants while managing deadlines and escalations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of field adjusting or related claims experience.
• Active adjuster license(s) and ability to obtain additional licenses for the assigned territory.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally and regionally within Virginia and Maryland.
• Proficiency in Xactimate, with experience using Xactware products and third-party estimating resources such as EagleView and Hover.
• Strong investigative, documentation, organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and interact professionally with insureds, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and carrier representatives.
