Field Claims Representative (Property and Casualty) – Utah County

Location: Draper, Utah, United States; hybrid work with initial in-person training, work-from-home flexibility, and on-site claim investigations. Must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

What you will do

• Investigate claims, assemble facts, determine policy coverage, evaluate losses, and analyze legal liability.
• Handle multi-line property and casualty claims in an assigned territory, with emphasis on property claims.
• Resolve claims accurately and promptly through phone, mail, and on-site investigations.
• Attend arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials when required.
• Ensure claim payments are issued accurately and on time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent direct experience handling property and casualty claims.
• At least 3 years of experience handling multi-line property and casualty claims, with emphasis on property claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively with diverse individuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving geometry, financial documents, sums, and unit costs.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive, and a driving record meeting the company’s underwriting guidelines.

• Field claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Xactimate software.
