Salary: $115,000–$140,000 base

Fintech company building the next generation of financial products and integration primitives for major brands like Robinhood, DoorDash, and American Express.

What you will do

• Own platform projects end-to-end, from scoping and design review through shipping and operation.
• Handle scraping engineering and reverse engineering for integrations and automation against moving target systems.
• Ship reliability and performance improvements to shared infrastructure, including proxy management and browser fleets.
• Develop shared libraries, custom lint rules, and internal tooling to support Integration Engineers.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows thoughtfully to personal work and internal developer tooling.
• Manage production operations via on-call rotation, incident triage, and CVE remediation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of backend integrations engineering experience building production services.
• Strong Python skills (3.10+).
• Production operations experience, including on-call rotations and debugging real-time incidents.
• Working knowledge of AWS (specifically DynamoDB, S3, IAM, ECR).
• Solid system design fundamentals and comfort with concurrency/async patterns.
• Must be based in or able to work from the NYC office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with browser automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, or CDP.
• Knowledge of browser fingerprinting, TLS (JA3), and captcha challenges.
• Working level knowledge of identity protocols (OAuth2, SAML, OIDC, MFA).
• Experience with FastAPI, Redis, Celery, or gRPC in production.
• Background in fintech, payroll, or other regulated environments.
