Salary: $130,000 – $170,000

What you will do
- Design, build, test, and deploy cloud-based services and APIs.
- Translate product and business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Own the full project lifecycle from design through production rollout and support.
- Write maintainable code and drive technical design decisions and engineering standards.
- Implement observability, security, and operational readiness within services.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools for planning, refining specifications, and validating implementation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a modern programming language (Ruby, Scala, Python, Java, or TypeScript).
- 5+ years of experience building or integrating backend services and APIs.
- Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
- Experience with automated testing, version control, and modern software delivery practices.
- Understanding of cloud application development and distributed systems.
- Must be based in or able to work from Salt Lake City, Utah for hybrid office attendance.
