Salary: $70,696.34 – $127,957.05

What you will do
- Teach nursing courses across classroom, online, clinical, lab, and simulation environments using technology-enhanced methods.
- Create inclusive learning experiences that connect theoretical knowledge to professional practice.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback and remediation.
- Develop and maintain course curricula by leveraging data, evidence-based practices, and AI tools.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to students and new faculty members.
- Engage in peer-reviewed scholarly research and contribute to university accreditation workgroups.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent degree appropriate to the discipline.
- Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Licensure in a Compact state.
- National certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
- 2+ years of full-time teaching experience at the instructor level or higher.
- 2+ years of direct patient care experience in the relevant clinical specialty.
- Proven ability to produce public, peer-reviewed scholarly work.
