What you will do

• Teach nursing courses across classroom, online, clinical, lab, and simulation environments using technology-enhanced methods.
• Create inclusive learning experiences that connect theoretical knowledge to professional practice.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback and remediation.
• Develop and maintain course curricula by leveraging data, evidence-based practices, and AI tools.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to students and new faculty members.
• Engage in peer-reviewed scholarly research and contribute to university accreditation workgroups.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent degree appropriate to the discipline.
• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license and Nurse Licensure in a Compact state.
• National certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP).
• 2+ years of full-time teaching experience at the instructor level or higher.
• 2+ years of direct patient care experience in the relevant clinical specialty.
• Proven ability to produce public, peer-reviewed scholarly work.
