Retail Construction & Fit-Out Buyer (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Manage strategic and operational procurement for retail store fit-out and construction services, including materials, contractors, and suppliers.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluations, tender management, and supplier selection.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and framework contracts.
• Develop cost-saving strategies and ensure budget control and cost transparency across store development and rollout projects.
• Manage supplier, general contractor, and specialist vendor relationships while monitoring performance and driving corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Design, Architecture, and Project Management teams and ensure compliance with internal policies, governance standards, and sustainability requirements.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management within retail fit-out, store development, or construction environments.
• Proven expertise in end-to-end procurement processes, including RFQ/RFP, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Strong understanding of retail construction and store fit-out project lifecycles.
• Demonstrated success in driving cost savings, budget control, and value optimization across projects.
• Experience managing suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships in international environments.
• Fluent English skills.
