TL;DR

Business Development Manager - International (SaaS): Drive growth across assigned international territories by owning the full sales cycle from pipeline generation and outbound prospecting to strategic account development and deal closure. Focus on engaging senior/C-level stakeholders, selling complex technical solutions, and executing structured pipeline and forecasting in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Location: Hybrid work — at least 3 full days per week in the office (Lisbon or Leiria, Portugal)

What you will do

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets.
  • Generate pipeline via outbound prospecting (cold calling, email outreach, social selling) and partner collaboration.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and advance opportunities through the full sales cycle to closure.
  • Create strategic account plans and deliver tailored product presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs and demonstrate product value.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and manage pipeline forecasting and sales metrics (Pipedrive knowledge is a plus).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, SaaS sales, or international technology sales.
  • Proven outbound pipeline generation experience (cold outreach/prospecting).
  • Strong consultative selling and strategic account planning skills, including selling complex/technical solutions.
  • Fluent Portuguese & English required; Spanish or other languages are a strong advantage.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, or similar).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
