Early-stage AI software startup building a category-defining AI-powered platform for the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and packaging supply chain.
What you will do
- Run high-volume outbound via phone, email, and LinkedIn targeting CPG brands and manufacturers.
- Book a minimum of 2 qualified discovery meetings per week for the founder.
- Own the HubSpot CRM, managing clean pipelines and sequenced cadences.
- Research target accounts to identify decision-makers such as Creative Directors and Procurement managers.
- Iterate weekly on messaging and hooks based on buyer objections and market signals.
- Source new target lists based on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of B2B SaaS outbound sales experience (SDR/BDR).
- Demonstrated track record of cold-outbound success (dials, meetings, conversion rates).
- Excellent spoken English and comfort communicating with US business buyers.
- Experience selling into non-tech, traditional industries like manufacturing or supply chain.
- Proficiency with HubSpot/Salesforce, Apollo/ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Willing and able to work US business hours (East Coast overlap).
Nice to have
- Prior experience as a founding sales hire at a YC or seed-stage startup.
- Experience selling specifically to Procurement, Packaging, or Brand decision-makers.
- Experience closing deals or running outbound from a founder's LinkedIn account.
- Familiarity with CPG, beauty, or packaging supply chain terminology.
