What you will do

• Set up programme contribution feeds for studio staff and recording areas, ensuring correct line-ups for transmission.
• Route and line up live programs from local and remote studios to playout suites for hirify.global TV networks.
• Manipulate video feeds using standards conversion and audio shuffling techniques.
• Log all output-affecting incidents and contribute to Post Incident Reports.
• Coordinate with editorial staff and Duty Operations Managers to resolve conflicting demands in a live environment.

Requirements

• Must identify as deaf, disabled or neurodivergent to apply via the hirify.global Extend programme.
• Experience working within a broadcasting or live production environment.
• Working knowledge of audio and video engineering principles and their practical application.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in London on a shift rotation.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with global colleagues and non-technical staff.

Nice to have

• Experience with BNCS control systems and scheduling software.
• Familiarity with Audio/Video over IP, IT Networking, Linux, or Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of hirify.global News, Sports, and Event coverage.
• Electrical safety testing certification or similar safety qualifications.
