TL;DR
Value Creation Senior Associate (Transaction Advisory): Supporting buy-side and sell-side transaction engagements by performing operational due diligence, cost and synergy analysis, and integration/separation planning across the transaction lifecycle. Focus on building actionable recommendations through quantitative/qualitative analysis, detailed multi-phase workplans, and post-close execution support.

Salary: $128,800–$164,220 (base salary range)

What you will do
- Support transaction advisory engagements with operational due diligence coordination across Financial Due Diligence, IT, Supply Chain, and Human Capital.
- Conduct operational due diligence to assess performance, operational risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead cost and cash optimization work, including spend baselining, cost diagnostics, and EBITDA improvement opportunity sizing and tracking.
- Perform synergy assessments, interdependency analyses, and standalone/stranded cost assessments.
- Develop integration and separation plans, including Day 1 readiness and 100-day planning, plus IMO/SMO/TMO support and TSA scoping.
- Prepare client deliverables (reports, presentations) and support change management and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transaction advisory, management consulting, operational due diligence, integration/separation, corporate strategy, private equity, or related field.
- Experience supporting one or more areas: operational due diligence, cost assessments/performance improvement, synergy analysis, M&A integration, carve-out/separation planning, Day 1 and 100-day planning.
- Strong analytical skills including financial analysis, data modeling, and process mapping; ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
