TL;DR

Project Controls FLNG Lead Planner (Energy/EPC): Overseeing planning and schedule preparation for complex FLNG projects with an accent on schedule control and contractual requirements. Focus on managing project controls teams, developing advanced scheduling concepts, and optimizing system effectiveness.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in one of the following US cities: Overland Park, Ann Arbor, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, or Tualatin)

What you will do

  • Lead planning and schedule preparation for complex projects, including startup planning.
  • Manage and supervise a diverse team of project controls professionals, overseeing performance and pay administration.
  • Address contractual requirements related to schedule control and provide expertise in scheduling forensics.
  • Collaborate with project management leadership to ensure the success of high-risk projects.
  • Develop tools, systems, and processes to optimize project controls effectiveness.
  • Identify process improvements and lead the development of staff capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience (or 12+ years without a degree).
  • Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding, including criminal background checks and drug screens.
  • No Visa Sponsorship available for this position.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience in a leadership role for medium- to large-sized EPC projects in both Home and Field offices.
  • PMI or AACE certification.
