Location: Must be based in Maine or New Hampshire (Hybrid: at least 3 days per week at the main office in Portland, ME, or site offices).
Salary: $33.34 - $38.47 per hour

What you will do
- Oversee the leasing team and manage the full applicant journey from initial inquiry through lease-up.
- Lead applicant intake and waitlist operations across multiple communities to ensure timely and responsive processing.
- Partner with Property Management, Compliance, and Development teams to achieve occupancy goals.
- Ensure all leasing operations adhere to strict regulatory standards and fair housing practices.
- Continuously refine and improve processes to enhance the applicant experience and expand equitable housing access.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in affordable housing; leasing experience preferred.
- Designation in LIHTC, RD, and/or HUD from a nationally recognized trainer or Property Management required.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a team.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s or associate degree preferred.
- Strong technical skills in office software; experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
- Deep understanding of fair housing practices and regulations.
Nice to have
- Experience working with disadvantaged populations.
- Familiarity with housing eligibility determination processes.
