What you will do

• Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of diesel engines, electrical controls, cranes, and elevators.
• Diagnose equipment issues and develop effective technical solutions to ensure first-time fixes.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to execute precise service.
• Collaborate with customers and internal leadership to provide service updates and estimated timelines.
• Maintain detailed service documentation, expense reports, and administrative records.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety procedures and PPE requirements in a shipyard environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• U.S. Citizenship is required (must meet NOFORN requirements).
• Associate degree in a technical field with 4 years of experience OR 4+ years of military/industry experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting.
• Foundational knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electronic controls.
• Valid driver's license and a valid U.S. Passport (or ability to obtain one within 3 months).

Nice to have

• Experience with diesel or gas engine systems and specialized testing equipment.
• Understanding of gas compression systems and related safety considerations.
