Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on support equipment and machines, coordinating necessary downtime with supervisors.
• Execute technical calibrations using basic measuring equipment.
• Manage equipment installation, start-up, and shut-down following LOTO and OSHA safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and partner with Engineering to identify and implement reliability improvements.
• Design and fabricate parts to enhance machine performance.
• Design and execute experiments to determine the root causes of build failures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (vocational/technical degree in industrial maintenance or electrical technology preferred).
• 1+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic electrical knowledge up to 480V, including experience with motors, starters, relays, and VFDs.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and basic PLC ladder logic.
• Must meet ITAR eligibility: U.S. Citizenship, lawful permanent residency, or refugee/asylee status.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with CNC machines.
