Associate AV Installation Technician

Salary: $23.46 – $29.90 per hour

What you will do

• Install a wide variety of technology including displays, projectors, loudspeakers, and microphones.
• Perform cable identification, pulling, cutting, wrapping, hanging, and testing based on riser diagrams.
• Execute cabling terminations for all wire and connector types.
• Prepare equipment racks for staging, including the installation of power strips and grounding bars.
• Read and interpret functional design drawings, cable riser diagrams, and rack elevations.
• Maintain an organized work environment and track company vehicles and tool inventories.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet corporate insurance requirements.
• Willing to obtain a Washington Electrical Trainee (06) training card.
• Knowledge of low voltage electrical concepts and basic carpentry/installation skills.
• Proficiency and safety with power tools.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 pounds.

Nice to have

• One year of experience as a fabrication technician or in a related industry.
