What you will do

• Create and maintain bills of manufacture in the ERP system.
• Design tools and fixtures for in-house and external production.
• Program complex jobs on 5-axis CNC machines using Esprit CAM software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot shop floor issues and improve OEE.
• Review engineering drawings and ECNs for manufacturability using GD&T principles.
• Lead new product integration efforts within the machine shop.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Thomaston, CT.
• Extensive experience in machining and CNC programming.
• Proficiency in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles.
• Ability to travel domestically for vendor audits and process qualifications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with rotating machines.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S).
