What you will do

• Lead project initiatives for process improvements, root cause investigations, and cost reduction activities.
• Provide engineering support for Design for Manufacturability (DFM), BOM structures, and process validation/verification.
• Offer daily production support, solving tooling and fixture problems and providing technical guidance to purchasing and materials teams.
• Manage recurring meetings to analyze and review manufacturing and quality data.
• Collaborate on new product releases, enhancements, and capital investment projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of direct floor support experience in electro-mechanical assembly and functional test environments.
• Proficiency in LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar structured problem-solving processes.
• Experience creating pFMEA, validation, and verification operations documentation.
• Proficiency in CAD design, specifically SolidWorks.
• Working knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly, molding, and machining processes.

Nice to have

• Experience within a regulated industry.
• Familiarity with ISO-9000 and FDA QSR documentation requirements.
• Experience with robotics, mechatronics, and automation.
• BSEE degree.
