Legal Counsel, Innovation and Transformation (AI)

Location: Paris, France; based in the Paris office with one remote working day per week

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automation tools for contract review, clause analysis, regulatory monitoring, and internal legal knowledge management.
• Advise on the selection, procurement, and integration of AI-powered tools across the legal function.
• Define policies, standards, and guardrails for responsible agentic AI use.
• Transform legal operations by improving efficiency, reducing cycle times, and enhancing service quality through technology and process innovation.
• Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Procurement, and other teams on matter management, vendor oversight, budgeting, CLM systems, and performance dashboards.
• Develop training for legal, compliance, and business teams on AI-related legal and regulatory topics.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of legal experience focused on technology transactions, privacy, data protection, regulatory compliance, or intellectual property.
• Knowledge of the AI regulatory landscape and experience drafting and negotiating complex technology agreements.
• Prior in-house experience at a technology company or an organization undergoing significant digital transformation.
• Hands-on experience advising on the development, procurement, or deployment of AI or machine learning systems.
• Experience with legal operations tools and processes, including AI and workflow automation.
• Fluent French and fluent English at C2 level required.
