TL;DR

Legal Counsel (Innovation and Transformation): Leading the strategic transformation of legal operations through the design and implementation of AI-powered tools and automated workflows with an accent on regulatory compliance and technology transactions. Focus on building agentic commerce infrastructure, optimizing end-to-end legal processes, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization.

Location: Must be based in Paris, France (Hybrid: 1 remote day per week).

What you will do

  • Design and deploy AI agents and automation tools to streamline contract review, clause analysis, and regulatory monitoring.
  • Serve as the primary legal advisor for the procurement and integration of AI-powered tools within the legal function.
  • Lead the strategic transformation of legal operations to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
  • Partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Procurement to optimize matter management, vendor oversight, and CLM systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on AI-related legal and regulatory topics for internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of legal experience with a focus on technology transactions, privacy, data protection, or IP.
  • Fluent in French and English (C2 level).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the AI regulatory landscape and experience negotiating complex technology agreements.
  • Prior in-house experience at a technology company undergoing digital transformation.
  • Hands-on experience advising on the deployment of AI or machine learning systems.
