Director, Senior Associate General Counsel (PropTech): Leading legal support for APAC operations at a SaaS organization serving the commercial real estate industry with an accent on complex SaaS contracting, technology transactions, and regional legal team leadership. Focus on negotiating strategic enterprise agreements, managing legal risk across multiple jurisdictions, and partnering with Sales and Product teams on revenue growth, privacy, governance, and disputes.

What you will do
- Lead the APAC legal team and serve as the primary legal contact for regional business operations.
- Partner with APAC Sales and revenue leadership on enterprise opportunities, strategic customer negotiations, and contract execution.
- Draft and negotiate SaaS subscription, software licensing, MSA, SOW, DPA, professional services, partnership, reseller, vendor, and procurement agreements.
- Develop contract templates, fallback language, negotiation playbooks, approval frameworks, and training for Sales and business teams.
- Act as a Product Business Partner for a product subset, supporting product development, go-to-market strategies, and customer-facing product matters.
- Advise on disputes, litigation strategy, corporate governance, employment, privacy, cybersecurity, data protection, compliance, and APAC legal developments.
Requirements
- Law degree and active admission to practice law in a relevant APAC jurisdiction.
- 8+ years of legal experience, including substantial commercial contracting experience.
- Strong experience negotiating SaaS, software licensing, technology transactions, and complex commercial agreements.
- Experience partnering with Sales and Go-to-Market organizations and supporting high-value enterprise contracts.
- Experience managing legal matters across multiple APAC jurisdictions and navigating common law, civil law, and hybrid legal systems.
- Proven people leadership experience building, managing, and developing high-performing legal teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in commercial real estate technology, PropTech, SaaS, or software organizations.
- Experience leading a regional legal function within a multinational technology organization.
- Familiarity with the Australia Privacy Act, Singapore PDPA, and other APAC privacy and data protection frameworks.
- Experience with corporate governance, entity management, intellectual property, procurement, strategic partnerships, or corporate growth initiatives.
